House & Story is a design and staging studio based in South Florida. We work with clients who are living in their homes, preparing them for sale, or starting fresh in a new space. In each case, the work is the same: thoughtful, intentional design that makes the most of what’s there.

Meet Leslie

House & Story was built on the belief that great design starts with how a space should feel — not just how it looks.

Leslie Farrar is the founder and principal of House & Story. Her approach is grounded in understanding how a space should feel, then shaping it with intention — knowing where to invest, where to simplify, and how to bring everything together in a way that feels cohesive and easy to live in.

Her work spans full-home design, strategic staging, and select commercial projects, bringing both creativity and practicality to every space. From Vancouver to South Florida, her perspective has been shaped by a range of homes, styles, and ways of living.

With a background rooted in understanding how people live and move through their environments, she brings a thoughtful, intuitive approach that balances beauty, function, and the realities of everyday life.
